Oil Pressure gauge pinned to the right?

Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system
The gauge functions by grounding through the sending unit. The sending unit act as a resistor. If it has failed and grounded or if the wire grounds somewhere else, then it will peg the gauge

I've also had this happen when an oil change shop breaks the sensor while changing the filter and then changes the sending unit with the warning light one.
