Oil Pressure and Coolant Temp checks

Just checking these levels to see how normal and abnormal they are.
Oil Pressure Idle cold is 60+, hot is 20. When cruising around it is 40~60. Using 10w40 oil.
Engine temp stays around 160~180.

Confirm your coolant temp. Get a hold of an infrared point and shoot thermometer (they are now very cheap!) and point it directly at the thermostat housing. Then you'll know.
Good data = good decisions.
If it is low, then start with a new thermostat. 195 degree. I buy mine from Jeep and also like the Stant Superstat. Stay away from no name el-cheapo thermostats. They are absolute junk.
The target temp for the 4.0 is in the 200-210 range. You need to be there...........
