oil pressure
im having oil pressure problems. i replace the sending unit and after i drive for a while the pressure will drop to zero but will go back to 20. what could be cause of this? im doing a pressure test on it to see if the gauge is in fact bad dont want to spend alot of money on truck.
it is a 96 jeep grand cherokee with the 318 4x4

This is for regular "Cherokee", the XJ. You have a Grand Cherokee. As these forums are platform specific, try posting here in the Grand Cherokee forum.

BTW, you want a "mechanical gauge" temporarily installed where your oil pressure sending unit is to verify your oil pressure. Best of luck to you...
