Did you screw in the sender all the way? And plug it back in? Try running the motor and un plug it, it should jump to 80 if it does the sender, even tho it is new is bad, if it does not move ethire the plug or the gauge is not working, was it ok before this?

My problem is the reverse. Did oil change, valve cover gasket. Went wheeling drove around for several days. Now my oil pressure is higher. Was about 20 at idle. Now it's 45 at idle and 55-60 at speed. Do I need to worry and what should I look for. Sorry to jack your thread but same topic.

I didn't just change the oil. We dropped the pan, cleaned it out, and painted it. Also changed fluid in Both Diff, TC, Transmission and filter.

Only issues not are an exhaust manifold crack (new one here Monday) and a misfire on #2. I have new plugs and wires, Cap and Rotor will also be here Monday. Hopefully then I will be ready to go.
