Default Goodyear MTRs

Anyone running MTRs on their XJ in the winter? First time running without winter rubber this year, and trying out my new MTRs. Just checking for how they do on braking, slush, snow, etc. And has anyone had a shop do siping on them?

I run them. Two years strong, 30k miles, more than half tread left (90% highway).

Awesome tires, you do not need to sipe them. they do just fine. You can actually stud these tires. Much better than siping.

Thanks! They are incredible in the mud, and I'm just starting to use them in the snow up here in Canada. We can't stud up here unless I go further north. They are definitely better than my Traildiggers (Hercules)
