Hey I have the same problem. 99 XJ 4.0 sport. I know I have oil in the engine but the gauge shows full pressure all the time which is not right.

Last time I got asked my age on here they called me a kid
Ok I know I'm young bt I've been in the auto Industry for 3 years now so I know something
And there is no reason for me to tell anyone what my age is it shouldn't matter but.......
I'm 18 years old FYI

Wont have power it works by ground pull wire off and ground it to metal then turn key to run position gauge should peg all way to right . If it does replace sensor its that simple.

Yes my gauge is pegged to 80 psi
And I have oil in my engine so I'm sure I have pressure or my motor would have blown up
