Default Oil Pan Struggles

Hello

I need anyones help. I have changed out my rear main seal on my 99 cherokee classic, and for some reason I can not get the oil pan back over the axle tube. I have disconnected the shocks and dropped the suspension as far as i thought I could. Is there anything else I need to do to get this pan over the axle. Sorry no pics at the time. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried putting the pan under the jeep from the side, then sliding the front of it up and over the axle? I don't see why this is such an issue... Can you take pics?
