Default oil pan removal

cant get my oil pan out. searched and searched on a write up. its hitting the shock looking thing that is directly below the pan (which is the cause of me having to remove it anyways). help!!!

the steering stablizer?? have to lower the steering setup. my friend had to lower his ft axle. good luck

well on mine, here is what you have to do. jack the front up as high as you can. then, under the front doors, put jack stands, then slowly let down the front so the axle is just hanging there, not touching the ground. you then have to remove all the bolts on the pan. it was very hard to get the pan off on mine, so be warned. to remove it, you may have to take off the starter(dont forget to disconnect battery just in case.) then, just snake it out. good luck.

did you remove your tires to get the axle to fall lower?

i dont have a lift. mine kept hitting the thing that looks like a shock directly below the pan. uh..getting pissed

If its not lifted like mine, u may need to unbolt the shocks at the bottom it will give you extra room.
