Exclamation Oil leaking!!

There is some Oil leaking in my Cher. In the garage they told me it's bkoz of an oil seal between the transs. box and the engine. I'm not sure but a friend of mine told me that's normal in all Jeeps !!!

well you will probably have to replace the seal or whatever and wherever its leaking. my jeep is a 97 with 160,000 miles on it and it doesn't leak one bit.

Arab'70 check also your oil filter mount O-rings and the valve cover gasket.

just found a 91 xj for sale but needs a rear main seal how much work are we talking?

lifting the jeep letting the alxe hand down and remove the oil pan.....also throw in a new oil pump and a oil pan gasket at the same time......

X2. they told me the same thing at the shop when i first got it, and it turned out to be a valve cover gasket.
