So, I received an oil leak that is squirting oil out of the top of the arm that holds my filter (is it the sensor??) I've referred to my Haynes manual countless times regarding it, but I can't find any reference to a leak coming out of that location. Any ideas??

 

If you have the 4.0 six cylinder it sounds like the o-rings that seal the oil filter adapter to the block. The good thing is it's only about $5.00 for the parts from the dealer. Bad thing is you may need to get a T-60 tork socket and in order to get it on the retaining bolt you may need to remove the engine mount and trans bolts to jack up the motor for enough room. I just did mine two weeks ago. Bolt was really tight and it I had to extend the ratchet with a pipe to get enough leverage.
