After looking for about an hour I could not find the Torque specs for OFA bolt for -90 Renix 6 cyl.
Does anyone have the torque specs for that bolt?

Not critical. Got the hex head 5/8"?
Good pull on a long wrench or ratchet.
Not even in my FSM.
Never used it in all the OFA seals I've replaced.

Given that the screw is made using powder metallurgy, I think that excessive. I usually smear a bit of grease on the O-rings, some never-seez on the threads, and torque to 30-35 lb-ft. Haven't had trouble yet, and I've done several in that exact manner.

about as tight as a hawks *** in a power dive. no really, I never worried about a torque spec on mine when I did it, its an o-ring seal. O-rings rely on smooth surfaces, proper dimensional tolerances and the fluid pressure to seal.

Thanks all for help. I will use a good pull on my wrench then.
My -90 XJ has about 200 000 miles on it and this is the second oil leak, first was valve cover gasket, RMS still no leak.

Just a little oil on it. I will take it out and clean it and if needed put new brushes in it before they go bad. Have done that to a few of the other starters i have.
These starters are a lot easier to work with then the 60 and early 70s Mopar starters with the brushes in the middle.
