Default Oil filter adapter star size?

Any one know what size star it takes to get the oil filter adapter off?

My '96 is a T60, but some can be hex and others a bolt. Start with a 1/2" drive T60 (~$6 at AutoZone) and go from there. These adapters are a pain to get loose. You will need some tips, because it's tight in there ... :
  • Punch out the T60 bit from the 1/2" socket.
  • Put a long extension on the naked T60 bit, either by "stacking" two wrenches, or other method (e.g., welding, or a "cheater" pipe over a box wrench or vice grips.
  • You *may* be able to go in from the bottom if you remove starter
  • Prepare for busted knuckles!
