No, they change. I believe this to be creditable...but just noticed it stops at 92. Any further info would be supper!

I was referring to the Felpro part that I used.............#70301
They list it as fitting all years of 4.0, however it only comes with the large o-ring. It does not come with the 2 smaller ones for the shaft-bolt.......
It appears that these smaller ones change between Renix/HO years.......
It wasn't a problem for me, as I have a massive kit to choose O-rings from.................But it would be nice to know a source for the correct ones available.........
The Renix o-ring are confirmed and are currently in use on my 88 MJ for the last year. There are NO kits available for Renix Jeeps they have to ordered individually. Any auto parts store that supplies o-rings will have them, or any industrial shop. When I put that list together I did it in the local lordco up here in Canada.
The internal oring sizes changed with the switch from a vertical oil filter (and 5/8" bolt head) to the later horizontal filter orientation (and the hex/torx head bolts) on the OFA's.
The HO era sizes are correct ... But the years should read 91-01.
How do I know ... I made the list. And the HO sizes are also confirmed and running in my 00 XJ for the last three years. There is a dealership hit available, but up here it is $20 ... Each set cost me $1.92 in Canada bucks so you US types will likely pay a nickel.
I had an uneventful experience doing this. knocked the bit out of a torx socket, used a 12mm wrench on it like the pic above. the bolt was tight so I hooked another wrench on the end for leverage. it's not as difficult as many want to think. Last time I did it I replaced 2 in a total of 11 minutes.
I tried that method with a 12mm wrench on the torx bit and a cheater bar on on the wrench. My 12mm wrench isn't 12mm anymore. That thing will leak till the end of time
I do like the idea of taking the motor mount loose tnough. I could put a breaker bar directly on the torx bit. Maybe a good time for brown dogs too

How's this?

And the last time I let the dealer soak me for those three Renix o-ring it was $30 ($10 a ring). Hence the search for a more reasonable option ... After the wife's 08 JK TIPM fiasco, I'm done with the dealership here.

I got mine from the dealer it comes as a kit and is $3 or something.
I found the o-ring kit at Crown and the non-metric nipple for about $3.50 each. I'm only a few miles from their warehouse so I paid no shipping. I also noticed that the engine block side of the adapter has two indentations in it. One is for the roll pin, in this case to keep the adapter and the oil filter in a "vertical" position. The other indentation looks like it will allow "horizontal" positioning of the adapter and oil filter, and perhaps a less messy filter change procedure. Thoughts?
Roll pin indent at 12:00 in the photo, other indent at 9:00.
I tried Crown & OEM, and prefer OEM. The fit was better.
Warm (hot) engine to help break bolt.
Work from underneath. A breaker bar may be necessary.
A specialty Torx bit that fits in the very tight area is a big time & knuckle saver.
Clean the Torx portion of the bolt throughly with a pic & brake cleaner to gain better grip.
Add nut before reinstalling.
i have bought the 'O' ring set and i have the T60 Trox bit all ready to do this job once the warmer weather gets here in England,im due an oil change soon so i may as well do the seal on the oil filter housing adapter and oil change at the same time,it was very interesting reading fellow xj owners stories regarding the adapter seal,'madmanmarty' nice tool you have made for the T60 bolt removal.
I've thought about that. Even using NO roll pin and positioning it where I want.
I was able to mount the adapter horizontally, though now the charcoal canister is in the way of oil filter removal/installation. I may try to relocate that item, or just put the oil filter adapter back to the original position. Otherwise, this procedure was a lot easier than other experiences I've read about, as my '89 has the 5/8" bolt head instead of the torx of later models.
