The dealers have really jacked up the price of the oil filter adapter o-ring kit. It now costs around $20. Two years ago I paid $5.23 with tax.
The big o-ring is usually the one that's needed. It flattens out and gets hard. Fel Pro lists the big o-ring and it costs about $1.17 local retail.

hope it is not a waste of time, anybody tried using this kit from morris4x4 / jeep4x4 center? If it leaks I will update.

At the end of the day, it's just a set of O-rings so it will either fit and work or you won't be able to get it together (too large) or it will be too loose (not fat enough) and leak. With any o-ring, it will eventually fail so for a few bucks, if these ones work, order another set for a spare.

I had to deviate a little...
Looks like there are already several clever ways of getting that stupid oil adapter bolt out.... I ended up using some advice from others with my own. I didn't have a bar/pipe to use as a breaker bar b/c of the clearance. What i ended up doing was using a serpentine belt tool, a 12mm 12point 3/8 socket, and a T60 1/2 socket that i knocked out then CUT to make shorter. Once I broke the bolt loose after applying a propane torch to it I used the T60 bit and a 12mm 12point ratcheting wrench. One of the messiest jobs i've ever done. Of course I SHOULD have taken the oil filter off first... but derp. lol. I got my Fel Pro O Rings (4 of them in a bag/box) fro O Rileys for $4.30. They had them in stock even. Hope they are the right ones! Will find out today lol. Here a few pics...

I knocked the T60 bit out of the 1/2" adaptor (shown in yr 2nd last pic)
the shaft of the bit could now be locked with 2 x 12mm ring spanners, taped together, side by side. I bought 2 x identical $1 Supercheap spanners, just for this job)
placed a 2ft long pipe over the spanners, needed ~150lb to undo, seemed like original factory o-ring & loctite
this job went very easily for me, only the outer o-ring is the leaker
knocked the Torx bit back into its receiver
spanner size may vary, heard a few tales of busted spanners, and modded tools, the 2 spanners side-by-side, gives all the room you need, and evidently sufficient strength
