Default Oil dripping from front end, driver's side

Noticed a thin puddle on the driveway yesterday after being parked there for just an hour. I believe I found the point of origin but I'm not sure what's causing it.

Strange. It worked for me.

I just had my dad look at it and he thinks it's the power steering pump. But the fluid is a light brownish color, similar to new oil, and smells just like it.

Looks like the power steering box and or hoses are leaking.

Yep. Not oil. Power steering fluid.

Check your power steering fluid level. You'll want to fix that leak, but if it's slow enough you can actually nurse a leaking steering system along for a long time if you keep an eye on the fluid level and keep it filled.

Just throwing this out there...I thought I had a PS leak for a long time til I was advised to check my transmission lines at the radiator. Sure enough, bottom one had a small drip that blew back over my PS pump area.

I nursed a slow PS leak for like a year and a half lol! But seriously, replacing the PS pump and hoses is pretty easy. Did mine a couple months back.

i had a slow leak in my PS a few a bit ago where the shaft from steering wheel goes into the box. took a turkey baster, sucked out all fluid i could and put a half of bottle of lucas ps stop leak in it and new fluid to fill it up. stuff worked good, that stopped it.
