Default Oil on clutch plate

So I have had a few problems lately when I push my clutch to the floor sometimes it gets stuck or doesn't disengage right. And while I am driving it feels like it will slip out of gear and back in sometimes.

My manuel says both these can be caused by oil on the clutch plate.

I looked under neath and the oil pan looks like the gasket is shot all the way around there is oil on everything. Starter, cylinoid, power coil, tie rod, shocks. ETC. it looks like the clutch housing buts up to the oil pan.

What do you think is that the problem.

The oil filter adapter can leak oil into the bell housing and sling oil around in there. I am having that issue. Get some brake kleen and spray all that oil off so you can see where it is coming from. Oil pan gasket is fairly easy to chage too but I doubt that is how your clutch is getting oil on it.

Through out bearing for the sticking issue and oil for the slipping. you need to solve the oil issue, start tracing the oil leaK FROM THE TOP DOWN.. The valve cover is one of the most common leak souces, followed by the Oil filter adapter, oil pressure switch and then the Rear main Seal and oil pan. Seen many people start by spending a day fixing the Pan and RMS only to find out the leak was comming from the Valve cover or oil filter adapter.

By the way if the clutch plate is getting oil soaked it will need to be replaced, also. So fix the leak FIRST.
