ok so i got oil comming through the air tube going to the stock air cleaner. how do i fix that? i got 174 thousand miles on it.

 

Is thre a PCV valve in that line or does it just go straight into the valve cover?

 

I JUST went through the same thing. I took off the valve cover and cleaned all the gunk out of the ccv and pcv flaps (inside of the valve cover). That stopped it for me.

 

I have a '93 w/4.0 6cyl. I don't have this problem (yet?),but I read a post where someone installed an inline air/oil/water separator like those used for air compressors. That way, the oil will never make it to the air cleaner element while still having air flow through the tube. Also, might be a good idea to make sure the PCV valve and tube at the back of the manifold are clear.
