I Just got my jeep just replaced the rear main seal and was wondering what kind of oil everyone out there uses and why.
Here are my conditions i have a 1993 with 135K mostly a DD but it will see off road action. Any info would be appericated.

I have been putting some thought into this too. Unfortunaly, I am not a mechanic because I would know the answer if I was, but I am not sure what oil is truely the best.
I think next oil change I will be using either Mobil 1 or Castrol GTX and a Mobil 1 filter.
I am currently running valvoline 10w40, but will probably switch to 10w30 to see how it runs.
