oh yeah got my mustang injectors on baybee!!!
Hey guys,
I jus felt that i had to express my joy.
First off i scored some 50 dollar remanufactered 5.0 bosch type III injectors on ebay. That totally made my week.
I jus installed them right now and couldnt be happier.
It gave me a smother idle and quicker throttle response. It also made my knock less noticeable. I tested it out and didnt really notice a big performance boost. Maybe slightly but not enough to get them for that sole reason.
Two things i recommend for this install.
First one is make sure your o-rings in the fuel lines that connect to your fuel rail are in good condition. When i took mine off it was siezed so i had to pull with my biceps.
When i connected it back and bumped the starter it started leaking. I checked and my o-ring was shredded. So i recommend you replace them if theyre bad.
Second thing is make sure you rub some motor oil on the injector o-rings so it makes your life easier. Dont dip them in there jus rub some for lubrication.
Also when you take out the old injectors rock them while pulling so it gets out easier. Dont just pull or twist because it wont get you any where. Do the same when you stick it back in. Just to make your install easier than mine.
Other than that its pretty simple. I totally recommend them especially if you score some for 50 bucks. Get remanufactured Because used might not be cleaned as well. But dont matter i guess.
Hope this helps.

thats the reason i reccomend to just buy new O-rings before you remove the old ones...cause 9 times outta 10 1 is gonna be screwed.....i use grease on the Orings of mine so they pop right in.......otherwise for me they just wanted to roll and bind up when pushed in.
Glad your happy!

Yeah heres the part number
0280155710
People say they not good because it doesnt have the clip nut like the ome to keep them leveled.
But i didnt really see there was a problems. The rail keeps them leveled very well so it wasnt a problem for me.
