well... you wouldnt want lights for fog mounted on your roof, they would blind you in fog. I cant run mine in heavy snow or fog cuz it makes this light buttle arround my jeep and I cant see anything else. and driving lights? you might have to check with state law to see if you can run 55W driving lights on the roof.

other than that, I bought my 4 6" spotlights for my roof on ebay. I got them for 100$ and I beefed up the wiring in the housing and installed brighter bulbs. I painted them and changed the housing clamps to SS clamps and they are awesome

also BAJA lights, you can get them everywhere, the little rectangular guys. well they are awesome, I have 4 on my bumper and I installed heavier guage wiring internally and put in brighter bulbs. they are about equally as bright as my overheads so I cant complain.

I helped KITSAPFREERIDER with some info on installing his bajas on his roof and I think he likes it. you could message him. the BAJAS are about 20$ for 2 lights. I like them because they are cheap, duarable, well made, and easy to work on.

In places it is Illeagal to use roof mounted driving or fog lights. They ussually have to be mounted BELOW the headlights. Roof mounted lights are for OFF road use only.

In New Jersey you can have them mounted on the roof but they need to be covered at all times except off road...Tj

yep, I was driving a back road one time with all my lights on, 4 150 watt overhead 4 100 watt bajas on bumper and brights. I was cruzing and just wanted to use my lights to watch out for deer, and its fun. but any way, I saw this thing glowing up ahead really bright and I was wondering what it was. i got closer and closer and then I see it says POLICE! it was a decal on the side of the new charger car. he had his fog lights on. i flew past him and immeaditly shut off all the lights and slowed down. but he never pulled me over which was awesome. either a really cool cop or a sleeping cop.

if you put driving lights and fog lights on, make sure to put them on different switches. one for the fog lights and one for driving. having the driving lights on in the fog makes it even harder to see so you want the option. I learned this lesson a little late and had to go back and add another switch

I have killed my battery many times, but never while the vehicle was running. Some info on speaker size, cap, amp wattage, would be helpful.

If it helps, I have 2, 12 inch pioneers with a 760w pioneer amp and a cap rated for up to 1600w. I have 4 100w hellas on the roof, 2 100w hellas on the bumper, 2 55w fogs in the grill, and neons. With it all on and the system going, I have around 20 minutes before it dies. However, with it running, no problems what so ever. I draw enough amps to slow my blower motor for heat/ ac down maybe 30- 40%, but as far as drawing so much that you will kill the battery while driving, you will not likely reach that point. If you add a hi amperage draw accessory like a winch, I'd go with a dual battery setup.

If your doing driving lights, which run the 55- 130w range, as long as you dont go ape and add 20+ of them, you will be fine. I'd go with 4, for asthetics. Beside the Baha lights, Navigator driving lights (the small rectangular ones with clear lens, not blue, and not the gaudy round ones with the 'chrome" plastic gaurds) throw alot of light for very a little price. Bright, wide horizontal beam, and a good size defined vertical beam, all metal case, THICK glass lens, and they come in a 2 pack with a switch, wire harness, fuse, everything for $20. I had 2 recessed into the rear bumper on my XJ, they got flooded, sunk in mud, pelted with rocks, and never skipped a beat. Throw 4 of them on your roof rack, 2 of the blue ones on the bumper ( those are the fog variants) and you'll have all the light you need.

ya you will be fine, I got a larger battery than stock, it think it was a 540, between that and my 170 amp alternator im fine. if youre worried about drawing alot of juice and having your headlights dim with every hit of your bass (never happened to me) then invest in a larger alternator
