Always wheel with a second vehicle.

But in my vehicle I always bring an Axe, recovery gear, basic socket set plus cheater bar, pry bar and a BFH

If your in a wooded area, might be good to have the chainsaw too.
Never know when you might have to reopen a trail due to
storm damage.
