off idle/random knock

off idle/random knock
Ok lets see if i can explain this without being wordy ha.
2000 XJ 4.0L, auto, 117k.
I am almost sure my slow loss of coolant is my cyl. head havent had time to pull it apart yet. At running temp. and in these instances after extended idle, shut off for a minute, start back up and very rough idle, low hard knock off of any rythym (engine mount may be shot) shut off, and start up. rough but more like a cold start then normal again after a few seconds.
No codes, happened 2 times in a year or so. Any feedback is great in this as its proving difficult to track down without a spare rig since i use it for work, and no real free time in sight.
