Default oem xj skid plate $$
What is a reasonable price for the oem xfer case and fuel tank skids??

$20 each at pick-n-pull yards. Don't forget the steering skid.

Someone in my town thinks they're worth $200 each. Unfortunately there aren't any pick and pull yards within one hundred miles.

Keep in mind the gas tank skid is not the same for early and late model. The early model can be modified to work with late however.

Also scrap and salvage yards, and keep an eye on local ads for XJ part-outs.

You can buy a new aftermarket T/C skid for about $150, fuel tank ones can run from a cheaper one for about $189 to over $300 for a better one ie. heaver wall.
