Default Is this an OEM part?

I am helping my brother-in-law with a passenger side inner tire wear problem. I'm an experienced hobbyist mechanic (oil changes to engine pulls and everythig between). I have read a couple threads here and I now have a better idea of what to look for. I will get the truck in the air in the morning and see what shakes, but for right now.. I need someone to please tell me if this is a stock track bar. Based on what I'm seeing when trying to purchase parts, it's not OEM.

The ball joint at the end of the track bar looks to be loose, but agan, I need to get the jeep in the air to know for sure. He says that there is shifting of the suspension when he changed direction from forward to reverse or sometimes when he turns corners.

The Jeep supposedly has a lift on it. I am including several pictures so that perhaps you can give me additional insight.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

(P.S.: I would never let the engine bay / under carriage of one of my vehicles get so caked in oil and other fluids. I will be replacing the leaking driver side front brake line as well.)

I wish I could... but what you see in this thread equates to my entire experience with Jeeps. I'll read the thread though just in case

After further research, it seems that I had the track bar and the "drag link" mixed up. The drag link connects to the pitman arm.. correct? I am looking for the drag link at RockAuto and not finding it.

I will likely buy both; but is there another name for the drag link that I should be using when trying to find parts?

Thanks again!

drop brackets are for relocating the TB without having to re-drill. but they are shotty and most dont work well and bend easy. but by the looks of the suspension its at stock height. which would cause a problem.

in my experience every time I have asked for a specific tie rod end the parts guy has always pulled out the wrong one so good luck.
