OEM Cooling Fan Rigging
My electric fan system took a crap this past summer. How many amps does the fan draw? I know the fan itself is good because I damn near took my finger off testing it 
Will 16 gauge speaker wire handle it? TIA

Yes I agree on the 16 being a tad small. I would probably use somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 and I would never wire up anything but speakers with speaker wire. The wires in it are very thin and can burn up easily. I always error on the side of safety with wiring. Unless you want a burned up jeep.

I would probably see what amp it was fused for originally and use the same that was in the fuse box. But I would think 30 would be more than sufficient.
