Guys, I am getting an odd squeaking noise coming from the engine compartment, on cold startup for about 5 minutes then it goes. It is a rhythmic squeak, like every second, and it doesn't change with either engine speed or road speed, and it appears to be coming from the passenger side close to the firewall, perhaps in the area of the evap purge solenoid.
Any ideas?

Does it change when you change HVAC blower speeds? How about if you momentarily unplug the purge solenoid?

any news, I have a strange cold noise and it goes away as it warms up

 

I am pretty sure its the Evap system pump building pressure on start up that is squeaking.
