Default Odd electrical issue...

Hello, I recently bought a '94 XJ 4.0l, 2wd, auto, (pretty much base / entry level), which I'm at least the 3rd owner of. It is my first jeep and I love it. There has been some electrical modifications including aftermarket stereo, lights, maybe an aftermarket alarm, and a couple of other things.

The Problem: Two days ago my stereo, turn signals, A/C & Heat controls, cigarette lighter quit working. The headlights, brake & tail lights, hazards, and dash lights remain working.

What I've Done: First I checked the fuses... All are good. I then removed two aux switches (probably used for lights and /or stereo amp shutoff), and extra post-manufacture wiring; to restore to stock since all aftermarket mods had been removed or disconnected before I bought it (except for stereo receiver and two front door speakers). After removing the aftermarket wiring, while in the ACC position everything worked as before the problem. In the ON position the problem remains.

Its still drivable though I have to use hand signals at the moment. I can supply HD pics if necessary. Thanks for any and all help.

Finally found the solution after cleaning all the grounds, relays , fuses, connections, and switches... It was the ignition switch. I took it apart to find a gummed up spring was the problem. I cleaned all of the springs and connections and I have full power to everything again. Best of all I saved $25 by not buying a new switch.
