Default Obd1 question

Hey guys I need to get my inspection done this month and I just wanna know if I need a cat to pass or does that not matter. I have a straight pipe to a resonator to a 90 out the side. Other then that I know the truck will pass. That's all I want to know is if I need a cat or no
