Default OBD II no power to plug

Good day all,

I have a1999 Cherokee Sport that has no power to the OBD II port under the dash. Can anyone tell me which circuit feeds power to the OBD II plug.

I have no power to the plug. Pin 16 does not have power to it. I am trying to find what circuit feeds the power wire. I have looked in the owners manual for the fuze that powers the circuit but it is not identified.

Again, fuse 17 (20 amp) in the PDC powers pin 16 on the datalink connector (and other circuits).

The circuit is F34. If you have the FSM, look in section 8W (wiring diagrams) and you can follow the circuit.

If you don't have it, go to cruiser54's website to download it.

You might want to make sure it has a ground as well. In my 96, I freed up my dash to help remove/install the heater core. I had missed a ground wire upon assembly. When I found the obd plug had no power/communication I found the ground wire to not be grounded.

I have power to the fuse in the fender box labeled IOD it has no numeric number in the box. The fuse to the radio in the fuse box in thside the car has power as well. I will try again tomorrow to see if I can figure it out.
