Default O2 sensors

Hi all.
if I understand this there are a total of three sensors?
2 at the manifold and one after the cat? correct?
I cannot find the one after the cat. were would the little POS be located?
would having bad o2 sensors cause a misfire?

I think there's two in exhaust.. Just crawl under there and check over exhaust.. Ones one the down-piping and the others just before muffler/tailpipe section. And yea, bad o2's will cause it to run like **** and get no gas mileage..

As I said I found 2 right after the manifold, but not down stream it looks like there are two pipes leading down from the exhaust manifold with one in each.
they look like about 50 bucks a piece. where is the downstream one located?

if you have one downstream, it will be located AFTER the catalysator

Go to your local auto parts store and get the codes scanned. That'll narrow it down to the one that's goofed up. I just replaced all four on mine...but that's likely the first time it's been done in 110,000 miles. If you don't have the money for all four, just do the one throwing the code...but if it's been a long time for all of them, i would recommend doing all four at the same time...

and its unnecessary to do all four if it ain't broke its doing its job but if one is broken another one probably is too the computer probably can't tell yet
