Default O2 Sensor - NTK 23553

Hello,

I recently ordered an O2 sensor part NTK 23553 for my 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 I6. I received the part and it looks different than the picture on Rock Auto and also on Amazon. The part came in NTK box and bag with the part number NTK 23553. Do you know if they changed the construction on these? I've been told NTK is the preferred brand.

I've attached the pictures for reference. The first picture is how the one I received looks and it stated it was part number NTK 23553. The second one is the picture that Rock Auto had of it and also Amazon. It also looks like the one that is currently in my Jeep. I'm thrown off by the one I received (1st picture) since its all silver.

THE ONE I RECIEVED FROM ROCK AUTO. This is directly from NTK's website too. (I have sent an email to NTK to see if they could explain as well but figured someone else had ordered one recently and might able to tell me sooner).

THE ONE PICTURED ON ROCK AUTO AND ON AMAZON.

Can anyone advise what their NTK O2 sensor looks like?

I received a response from NTK the the all metal one (picture one) is indeed the new design of these sensors. They have four wires going into the sensor versus three and do not have the white ceramic housing. Have people had success with this new design? They look so different. I just ordered a Bosch 12009 from Amazon to see if they have changed their construction too. Please if anyone has any knowledge on this subject let me know.

Odd. I bought the NTK from Rockauto back in Aug 2019, It's the "all metal" one like in your first pic.

@andysmithJEEP 2000 XJ I got a Bosch 12009 yesterday. The sensor had 4 wires which became 3. I think the colors coming off the sensor were Y, R, B, W and the Y was joined with another wire to become one.
