Default O2 sensor... help please!!!

Removed my downstream o2 sensor and it ate the top couple threads so I am unable to get the new one in, what size tap do I need to fix these threads or how can I fix this problem? Also if I drove down the road missing a sensor will it cause harm to my Jeep?

As far as the thread im not sure... Although running your jeep without the downstream will cause the upstream to act up either burning rich or burning lean as well as eating gas like no other.... I would know ive had this unfortunate issue for a while now...

That thread chase is awesome but I need it now. If I ordered it and left my sensor out how bad will my jeep run?

I found the thread chase at advanced, I'll pick it up before work and fix it on my lunch break. Hopefully all goes well.

You might fill out your info. It may well be that at least till 99 the downstream only monitors the Cat. Like turbo mentiones, just be cautious it doesn't torch something blowing out there. If you can't clean up the threads, a muffler shop can weld a new bung on there.
