Default NP242 Swap?

I plan on keeping my XJ for life, it has the NP231 t-case, and I was wondering, is it worth swapping out the 231 for a 242? I'd like to have full-time 4x4, but I wanna know if there's any disadvantages to it. Also- if I go ahead with it, what all is involved? Can I just swap out the t-case and call it a day?

If its not broke don't fix it.... the 231 is a marginaly stronger Case, for off road use.... Full-Time 4wd is nice to have if you, have to deal with snowy/Icy roads even heavy rain. The swap is pretty much direct, depending on where the donor comes from.

Like I said, I just plan to keep Chery for life and think full time would be nice to have, not doing this now, but just future ideas.
