I had to cut a wrench down and make it stubby to get the top bolts out. That's the hardest part.
TC weighs about 60-70 lbs.

Support the transmission, remove and bolts lower the crossmember, remove breather, shif linkage, and wires and what ever else needs to be removed. angle down a bit and drain the case. using the drain plug.
Then remove the bolts that hold the entire tcase to the transmission. They can be a bit of a pain.
Have always heard it is easier to work with for SYE if you put in 4low first.

I just need to. Find out how hard BC when my Heep got stolen. They tore front end and tcase up. And wore out a non broke in engine. Causing. Bearing. Noise again
