you will need to do some test with it
be sure to block the wheels then jack the back up by the bumper
get the wheels off the ground so you are at full droop
the check how much engagement the spline has
you can get a long travel shaft but they are pricey

went on a search... went to my favorit junk yard and spent 2 hours just walking around looking under every dang rear wheel drive vehicle that i could find and these are the 2 closest things i could find... both where just trannys laying around and not in a vehicle... i know the first one doesnt look like the yoke were looking for but "lets say" the 4 holes line up with the ZJ/XJ front shaft... and let say this is the correct spline count... do you think it would work? i think it would make it be a slip yoke and allow for a none slip yoke driveshaft... but i dont know if that would be good or not lol... the other one was on a GM tranny laying in a truck bed full of trannys... these were the only things remotely close... i looked under probly 50 GM/ford/dodge 1500 2500vans and nothing... anyways... figured id share my none findings of this JY yoke everyones looking for...

actually on picture 2 may would make more sense to use the current yoke and attach it to this bracket which would attach to the ZJ/XJ shaft... heck i dunno... just tossing the idea out there...

Looks like it would work see if you can find out what kind of tranny it is or take more pics of it. grab a front driveshaft and see it the bolts line up. If we can figure out what it is this will save us all a lot of money lol

i called and they were open longer then i thought... so i pulled my DS and took it out there... nope... from one side to the other they are to far apart... however... i looked around some more and i found a 83 and 89 bronco... not a bronco 2... the bronco's in the year range use the non-slip yoke style REAR drive shafts... so... does anyone know what spline these yokes would be? because if there the same then you could just use the yoke from one of hese broncos AND there driveshaft... and that gets rid of the problem with matching them... im gonna try and search around and see what sline these broncos have... wish i knew a good ford guy... oh and also the 83 was a manuel and the 89 was a auto so that doesnt matter... let me know what yall think!
