My xj's transfercase wont engage 4wd, i know its only part time 4wd. Today i was in the mud, threw it in to 4wd hi, i still got stuck. Can anyone help me figure this out? Or should i go with a np242 with a full time 4wd?

 

4wd wont always get you out of the mud... you sure it didnt engage?

 

the disconnect on your front axle isn't engaging.


look up d30 CAD fix on google, follow the procedure, and never look back.
