Recently purchased a 94 xj, with that being said over the course of a couple months I’ve done a complete tune up on it, plugs wires, oil & filter, air filter, tps sensor (because it wasn’t shifting when I purchased it) fuel treatment, brakes etc. Well I haven’t been driving it on the daily because the lift is (homemade) and it’s pretty sketchy sitting as high as I am with little steering control. So I’ve been considering lowering it while I also consider taking it to a shop. Anywho I decided to give it a full send and drive to work in it, bout 25min away doing no more then 45. Parked it, got off work, went to leave and no crank. It spins over I can hear my fuel pump kick on & hear the starter engage. So I assumed it was my distributor or my crankshaft sensor. I replaced both and still not getting a crank. Not even getting a spark through the distributor and I’m kind of stuck at this point. I don’t want to throw too much money at it trying to narrow down options. So if anyone’s had this problem and knows how to fix it please let me know. I’d like to get her running smooth again so I can get my front end looked at..( I’ve considered maybe it being the MAP sensor but I’m not sure) does anyone know ?
