Is this a "91? If so, it isn't a Renix and AFAIK it doesn't have a "hot air tube".

On the first attempt, how long does it take for the engine to start?

Then it stops immediately but will start quickly on the second attempt and run normally until you turn it off? How long does it have to sit before you have to go through the two step process to get it started again?

Did you try exactly what Radi suggested in post #6?

Yes its a 91 it takes a few sec to turn over and then it immediately shuts offit was said about 8 hours or more because it is my day with my new daily driver so I do not drive it that often I work 2nd shift job so I pretty much just eat sleep work I have tried post that Radi but I do not know that if it is that because I just check my check valve in my feel pressure is fine. As well I did pick up a new renix to put in and see if tgat works. I am going to try it again tomorrow . Thats the problem is it takes so long to test out new theory. Also how does one check the code on and older vehicle

12- battery was disconnected
21- oxygen sensor problem.

To be clear- the motor fires up and runs with the key in "start", then dies immediately? when the key is released.....then on the second try it stays running?
What happened when you tried the key on/off/on/start? Any change? Have you looked at the connector for the ignition switch- any sign of overheating or melted plastic?
