I bought a 2001 cherokee with 150,000 miles a week ago, i already bought a 3" RC lift (getting it today) and some 31" tires but yesterday while spraying on some PB blaster i noticed the rear springs are really worn down.
With no load at all, the leafs are pretty much flat (parallel to the floor) if not almost arching downwards.

I know you can't really see them from here but you can get an idea of the clearence i have (it is currently stock). I measured in the middle from where the body ends down to the floor and the clearence is about 16-17 inches, is this normal for a stock cherokee? Also, the RC lift comes with 1 additional leaf, is ok to just add that one or would i have to swap out the all of them if they are so worn out?
Any input would be appreciated thanks.

Once you put that add a leaf in it should help you out some if not you can always do a bastard pack with S-10 leaves and there a plenty of threads on do this. Use the search to find out how to do this.

stock rear springs have little to no arch,so basically they are flat.If you messure from the center of your hub cap to the bottom of the flare iy shouldbe at 17" the front on the same messurement is 17.5.As far as the add a leaf goes on a fairly good spring you will be ok for awhile, the best is to get the full spring pack.
Its normal. The Po of my jeep used it to tow his boat so my rear leafs are flat as well. She sags really bad. The add a leaf will help a little but i think it will still sit lower in the rear. I would do like JerseyJeeper said and look into bastard packs or just get new leafs from RC.

Well i guess it seems it is kinda normal lol
If the extra leaf doesn't give me the desired lift i'll probably try the bastard pack.
Thanks for the advice guys, really appreciate it.
