Default Track Bar - JKS or Rubicon Express?

I'm going to replace my stock track bar and I'm trying to decide whether to go with the RE1600 or JKS. I was reading some reviews on them and some people said the RE1600 isn't long enough in cases of lift over 4.5" in the front, and I may be going bigger eventually, don't want to buy an aftermarket track bar twice.

Anybody have any first hand experience with the two or opinions?

Thanks-

I ran the JKS on my old ZJ and I'm swapping it into my XJ. Been plenty strong. Only thing I've found the RE has the JKS don't is the after market bracket..

Wow. I hadn't seen this one before, looks sweet though and it's cheaper than the JKS. Somebody did a comparison of this one to the Rubicon Express, pretty good pictures here:

the RE1600 is garbage. the 1660 HD is really nice, but in a whole different league. the JKS unit is very good for smaller lifts

Good to know. So, I'm at about 5.5" lift right now, going to add coil spacers and shackles once I have money for SYE and driveline.

I'm diggin the Rock Krawler track bar, solid, I doubt I could break that one. JKS is a little more expensive but the specs to order by suit me better, i think...

Rock Krawler asks you to specify 3-5.5" lift, or 5.5-8" lift, where as JKS is 1-3.5" or 4" or more. I'd obviously go with 4" or more with JKS, but which way do I go with Rock Krawler? If I get the shorter bar can I install the longer adj. end?

i guess it just depends on the amount of lift you want but just get one that suites your needs

don't buy the re1600 for a .5.5 lift. i have one on mine and its just not the right angle for any thing over 3.5 you need a drop bracket.

at 5.5 i'd get either the TNT or RE HD. you want double shear mounting at the frame side.

Was about to post the same. 1.25" solid bar stock, and nicely made.
