Noise from rear end?
I cant seem to figure this one out, but when ever I come to a stop and release the brakes to start moving again there is a weird thunk sound from the rear end on my 92 cherokee. I dont know what to look for in resolving the noise and I have a buddy who has a 96 cherokee that does the same thing. Can anyone shine some light on what it could be? It also looks like the rear end is sagging a little bit lower than it used to. Can these two things be related?

Mine was doing that and I thought it was the slip yoke needing greased('96). I discovered the rear tailpipe hanger had broken when replacing the tailpipe and muffler, and my noise seems to have gone away.
I broke my tailpipe a few months ago and the weld on the back end of the muffler had broke as well so I ended up taking it out. Sounds nice now lol, but I need to get a new exhaust.
