Default no start..sometimes help

jeep would crank very slow so I cleaned up all the grounds and added an extra ground from the battery to the block with two studs coming out next to the coil. so started right up no slow crank just like it should drove around turned it off and went to start it and not even a click but the battery gauge was around 12 so decided to tap the starter and it right up this happened a while back when I first got the jeep should I replace just the solenoid or the whole starter?

Most guys swap in a new starter. Personally I wouldn't use a rebuilt. Buy new.
