Glad it worked for you, but don't blow off doing the grounds!!

Let me put it this way.

Had you done my Tips 1 through 5, you never would have had this issue because one of the first tips is cleaning the coil/ICM contacts. I wonder how many of those have been replaced unnecessarily because all they needed was a 5 minute procedure.......

Same with doing the grounds, C101 etc. Don't wait.

And why are you pulling the pan already?

 

All grounds have been cleaned and checked but not upgraded will be doing that next week after the spring camp-out(I travel with my tools just in case) along with the c101 and the rest of your tips that aply to me...

Oil pan was coming off for inspection and upgrade of the gasket... the ol' gal ticks and it's gotten louder so figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a gander, see if i had any debris in there. I know its lifter b/c I did the head and took care of the the tappets and rods while in there, sounded brand new for a month then ti ti ti tick tick...lol

 

update...she did fantastic this weekend handled everything i threw her way...even the rollover tipped mater* back on her feet and drove her home! thanks guys
