it started after everything was put back together today but ran like crap, so i disconnected the battery so the computer would clear for the injectors...
a half hour later i went to start it and now it will just crank and no start? wtf?
the gauges all move while cranking and the tach moves so im assuming its not the cps? could the cpu of fried? the ballast resistor shows 12.4 so thats not the culprit... is there a fuseable link somewhere that i couldve blown?
it has fuel and spark so im assuming its something electrical?

Disable ignition (for safety) and attempt to start...put a screwdriver between your ear and each injector to make sure they're all "clicking". Check for proper voltage (key in on position should = 12 volts DC, 0 off). Check connectors while starting with a meter...should "pulse" between 0 and 12 volts. Hook up a light to it and it'll blink on (12 volts) then off (0 volts) etc.

i dont think it has anything to do with the injectors though as it ran but rough as it should learning the new injectors, then the CEL came on.. so i disconnected the battery to clear the computer... waited 25-35 minutes and re-connected everything and now it wont start at all..

This would be a bit of a long shot, but I'd try replacing all the spark plugs.
I had a customer's vehicle sit in my shop for a couple days and we didn't start during that time. On like the third day when we were finished with it, it wouldn't start. Checked everything and last thing we tried was replacing the spark plugs and she fired right up. All eight of them were bad.
So if it were due for a tune up soon you might as well replace them. And if that doesn't work put your old injectors back in and see if it starts.

You have to bleed the fuel rail correctly. Have someone push the nozzle on the rail while you cycle the key on-off to energize the fuel pump, or jumper the FP relay with a piece of wire.

yea, but that doesn't necessarily mean your plugs are still good. In particular instance I used as an example the customer told me he had just replaced the spark plugs the month before. Again, I'm not saying that is your problem, but if you have spark, fuel, and air it should run.

Hello. I guess my first question is...Are you SURE you have spark and fuel? Because it's extremely rare not to start when both of these are present.

i have spark in cylinders 1,2&3, i got tired of pulling plugs after the third was good... i have fuel in the rail at the tire valve thing and when i pulled both lines on the rail they leaked, so im positive i have fuel and spark... compression... it feels like it out of the exhaust pipe when i put my hand over it... makes sense to me... did it fry the computer when i disconnected the battery? cps is good... autozone checked it too so im not delusional. when cranking it shows above 9 on the injectors so the pulse is there...
what the **** did i do wrong? anyone want a project cherokee? haaaaa thats how i got it..
