Ive had the tranny out twice in the last year in my 90. I cleaned the flywheel teeth both times. Yes there was junk on the yeeth, more importantly in the three main notches...FYI. just take the inspection plate off and flash a light in there.

It's a proximity switch basically. It's all about magnetic field interruption, not atmospheric pressure...unless I'm wrong and someone could correct me.

High altitude one advances your timing a bit.

So I guess physically the magnet would be in a slightly different spot on the body of the sensor? Or the holes are moved in relation to the magnet? Huh, makes sense.

How's it cranking? Should be pretty "lively". Is the battery up good?

Not quite sure what you mean by 30 Rev's. I hear mine "hit" about six times in about 2 seconds, would be about 180 rpm. (or in that ballpark anyway). I see you have other Jeeps. It should be cranken as fast as they do.....

Pete, it just won't fire period unless it hits a certain rpm, correct?

It takes 3 tries cycling the key with 10 revolutions each then it will start
After it started turn off then try again it takes 6 revoutions. Typical renix motor.
