whats up guys, I have bought me a peach lol 1988 Cherokee 2 door 5 speed 2WHEEL drive, only thing, the ole guy I got it from bought a new new liberty for his wife, and this one has set for 2 yrs not started. so today im out tinkering with it, and im not getting fire out of the coil, I have change the coil out, and still no fire what next HELP!

Try your basic ignition parts... Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also i would drain the old gas out of the tank and put new gas in. Also throw in a fuel injector cleaner in the tank too. If that dosent work, new fuel injectors. Be sure to check how old the fuel pump is. If its about 10 years or older, change it.... It could be 100 different things. Just start with that stuff

 

k sounds good, for sure im not getting fire out of the coil to the dist

 

If you replaced the coil, it could be something electrical

 

o lord I hope not,, don't get me wrong ive only got $350 in her, but id love to get her running

 

Id tow it to a shop and just get a diagnosis for like $20. Then go from there
