Question No Spark No Pulse

87 4.0 had trouble running, died, revived by rewiring crank sens then dies again. Replaced crank sens still nothing, tried new ECM nothing, old ECM is back in, trouble shot wiring to pickup in distributor, replaced still nothing help!!!

There is no spark and the injectors are not firing.

have you checked that there is power to the ECM?
Check the sensors like the TPS to see that you got 5v to it along with the Cam sensor.
It really sounds like you've lost power to the ECM.

no there is power to the ECM and to the distributor but not from it

Sounds like the 30 amp fuse for the coil. It will crank all day but never fire or spark. Had it happen to my first '95 twice.

so where is this fuse and again I am pre 91 married coil and ECM your 95 is different

True, did not even think of that, but you have the same symptoms I had. The fuse is in the block under the hood on mine, can not remember the exact location of the fuse off the top of my head though.

yeah there is an inline fuse on a yellow wire for my ECM i think thats what its for but it is fine and has been bypassed anyway
my fuse block is in the cab in mine as well

Google search, I found a reference to the Renix manual in a search.
The wiring diagram isn't there I think, I've been using the schematic in a Haynes manual I got.
There should be enough in the manual to get you working I think.

I get to work on the heep tomorrow, wife called and it failed to start at church and they had to push start it. Battery was 10.5v so I think the alternator light is not working along with the alternator.

somewhat helpfull I hope but your right I need a manual my NAPA has a chiltons but the library chiltons resource didnt have what i was looking for

I'll post what manual I have down at the shop in the morning.
I like it pretty good. We got two and I prefer one over the other.
