Ok guys I changed my alternator and now it doesn't have spark.. I took off the neutral safety switch and during taking it off I broke it. I bypassed it so now I hit a button to get the engine to turn over. It will not fire I took a plug out and I have no spark.. I checked the fuel rail and I have pressure so I know it's not fuel related. Before I put the alternator in it started and ran.. Please help I really wanna go two tracking I just got this jeep haha

 

You aught to post up what you have! All we know it that it is a automatic, so presumably a 4.0...

 

Yes 4.0 high output

 

did any wires short to ground during change ? have you checked all fuses ?

 

This was unplugged I plugged it back in and still nothing

Yes I checked fuses nothing is blown and I had the battery disconnected during the change.. My ground wire and the wire that runs to the starter get crazy hot after I try to start it for a min or two
