No Spark 93 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4L
Hi,
I have a no spark issue on my jeep. When i turn the key to the on position (on but not turning over) I get 12 volts at the black 2 wire connector going in to the ignition coil. According to my schematics, this comes from the ECM. The other wire is Dark green with an orange stripe. My schematic shows it going to the Automatic shut down relay. I have ohmed out the connection to pin 87 on the relay. I never get the automatic shut down relay to turn on thus it never provides 12 volts to the other side of the ignition coil. Does the ECM look for a signal from the cam position sensor or the crank position sensor before turning the Automatic shut down relay on? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
