no spark on 88 4.0

hello, i just picked up two more xj's and one of them i cant get spark on.
i have replace the distributor, plugs, wires. cap, rotor, and crank sensor.
also, i've swapped ecm and coil (with ignition module) from the runner to the not, put the parts from the non runner on the runner and it still runs.
still no spark!
what did i miss?
i have checked and i do have voltage to the distributor and the coil.
this things driving my nuts!! any help would be awsome!

got it! when i got the rig it didnt have a head on it, apparently the guy who removed the head took off all of the grounds from the back side of the block. and like a dumbass i never thought to look.
